Who will find Collect Call useful?
If you have friends and family in another country, it can be useful to give them the Collect Call access number and pin code.Currently, there are numbers in the following countries:
This enables them to call you without incurring high international call charges. The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, England.
First check whether there is a Call Collect access number available in the country in which your friends or family are located (see above).
How does Collect Call work ?
Log in on this website with your username and password and select 'Collect Call' from the menu.
Here you will find all the information you require and you can enter the telephone number on which you wish to be contactable via Collect Call.
When friends/family ring the Collect Call access number, they will be prompted to enter the pin code.
What does it cost my friends and family to call me via Collect Call ?
The Collect Call access number is a regular landline number in the country in which your friends and family are located.
Therefore, the charges for ringing this number are the same as ringing a regular landline number in the country concerned.
What does it cost to receive calls via Collect Call ?
The standard charges listed on our charges page apply to Collect Calls.
You decide to which number the Collect Call should be connected, therefore you are in control of the charges.
It is usually cheaper to receive calls on a landline than to receive calls on a mobile phone.
If the number on which you are being called is in a country that appears on the Free Destinations list and you are in possession of 'Freedays', calls may even be free.
Can I deactivate the Collect Call feature ?
After logging in on this website, you can deactivat the Collect Call feature via the 'Collect Call' menu.
However, you can also choose to set up a new pin code and give this only to those people whom you still wish to be able to call you via the collect call access number.
You can cancel the feature by deleting your phone number from the Collect Call page.
A new pin code can be generated on the same page by clicking the relevant button.
